Tommy Tuckers really is in a league of its own. The fish is plump and flaky, the portions generous and the value-for-money exceptional. I get my Witham ma-in-law the pensioner’s fillet of cod and a few chips – I myself bust out on a fillet of Haddock (Large, naturally). I get change from an eight-pound note.
